- What is 7|22?
7/22 is a gathering of post college singles in the Metro Atlanta area. We meet on Tuesday?s at 7:30pm in the Buckhead Church auditorium for passionate worship and relevant teaching (see News page for specifically scheduled dates). Each night includes approximately 45 minutes of worship led by the 7|22 band, and a 45-minute message given by one of our trusted communicators.
- What does "7|22" stand for?
The name 7|22 comes from the scripture passage 2 Samuel 7:22 which says, "How great You are O Sovereign Lord, there is no one like You and there is no God but You."
- How did 7|22 start?
In 1995, Louie Giglio began 7|22 with Bill Willits (who was the Singles Pastor at First Baptist Atlanta at the time, and is currently North Point Community Church?s Group Life Director). They recognized a need in the Atlanta area for an environment where post-college singles could worship God and grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. After a short "pilot" series, 7|22 took a break and began meeting weekly at Dunwoody Baptist Church, until it moved to North Point in fall of 1998. For more information, see the 7|22 History page.
- Where can I find a specific song that you've played at 7|22?
- If you want to know the songs from a specific night, check out the set list under our All Access page on this website. The best way to find a recording of a specific song is to first, find the name of the song and then visit one of the following sites (all of which are created to help you find your favorite worship songs). - Can I book the 7|22 band?
The 7|22 band focuses all of its energy on 7|22. Because of this, the band has decided not to "play out" and does not book itself for other events. However, if you are interested in booking specific members from the band, please contact us at 722@buckheadchurch.org and we will forward your information to the appropriate band member.
- How can I start 7|22 in my area?
All we know right now is that God has called us to offer 7|22 to Atlanta. Because of that, it is not our intention to duplicate and/or franchise 7|22, but we would love to be a resource to help you figure out what God wants to do through you in your area.
With that in mind, we are available to answer questions about the "behind the scenes" aspects of what we do, what we've learned through our growth, and what NOT to do. At this time we do not have any printed material, but if you are seriously considering beginning an event similar to 7|22, please e-mail any questions you may have to 722@buckheadchurch.org and we'll help as much as we can!- Can I order previous individual audio messages of 7|22?
-
The previous week's audio message is available at our online store. We are unable to maintain an online library of past individual messages, but most are available as part of a series. You can buy the series at the online store or at the resource kiosks.
- Can I get video footage of 7|22?
-
Due to copyright restrictions, we are not allowed to distribute video samples of 7|22 or allow individuals to record the actual program. Feel free to enjoy the streaming video online at www.722.org.
